Gyan TV MOD APK: Features, Latest Version, Safety & Installation Guide

GyanTV is an Indian edutainment platform focused on short educational and informational videos. Instead of long courses, the app delivers short lessons covering subjects such as spoken English, technology, finance, business, social media, career development, and part-time earning ideas.

The official Android app is listed on Google Play as “GyanTV: Short Learning Videos” and is published by Behtar Technology Private Limited. Google Play currently shows more than 10 million downloads and more than 33,000 reviews, with the app available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

What’s New in GyanTV?

The latest Google Play listing says the recent update focuses on performance improvements and bug fixes. The developer describes the update as making the app smoother and faster for video streaming.

The exact version number can change as new builds are published, so it is better to check the official Play Store listing rather than relying on an APK website’s version number.

Users Testing

For this review, the most useful reference is the publicly available user feedback on Google Play rather than anonymous claims from APK-download websites.

One August 2026 reviewer described GyanTV as useful for accessing educational and informative content in an easy-to-watch format, while also saying that the content variety and quality could be improved.

There are also negative reviews concerning subscription billing. Some users reported unexpected charges after an initial low-cost trial. These are individual user reports, not proof that every user will experience the same problem. The developer responded to some of these complaints and directed users to its support email.

This is particularly important because GyanTV’s own terms describe a subscription system and explain that billing can continue after a trial unless the subscription is cancelled.

Testing takeaway: The application itself appears to be an active educational video platform, but users should carefully read the subscription price, trial period, and autopay information before making a payment.

Gyan TV MOD Info

This is where users should be careful.

There is no developer-verified “Gyan TV MOD APK” published by Behtar Technology Private Limited in the official sources checked for this review. The official GyanTV FAQ specifically says the official app is available through Google Play and the GyanTV website and advises users not to trust other sources or links.

Therefore, claims such as:

• Premium unlocked
• All courses unlocked
• No subscription
• Unlimited access
• Ads removed
• Free GyanTV+

should not automatically be treated as genuine features.

A modified APK is a separately repackaged application. Its contents can differ from the official application, and the developer does not guarantee its security or functionality.

For that reason, this review does not claim that a particular MOD APK provides working premium features.

Is Gyan TV MOD APK Safe?

The official application is distributed through Google Play, which provides a substantially more controlled installation route than downloading a random modified APK.

GyanTV’s privacy policy says the service may collect information such as mobile number, IP address, device information, app activity, viewing history, advertising identifiers, and other technical information. It also states that payment-related metadata may be processed for subscriptions.

That makes it especially important to avoid entering your phone number, OTP, payment details, or other personal information into an unofficial modified application.

Common Problems and Fixes

GyanTV Is Not Installing

Make sure your phone has enough free storage and that Android is compatible with the current release. Downloading the official version through Google Play can also avoid corrupted APK files.

Videos Are Buffering

Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Switching networks and restarting the app can help determine whether the issue is related to the connection.

Login or OTP Problems

Check that your mobile number is entered correctly and that your phone can receive SMS messages. For account-specific problems, contact GyanTV support.

Subscription or Payment Issue

Check your active subscription and payment details rather than simply uninstalling the application. GyanTV provides cancellation instructions through the app and states that refund requests may be subject to its cancellation policy.

MOD APK Is Not Working

Modified builds can stop working after an official update, lose compatibility with the server, or contain altered components. There is no official support guarantee for third-party MOD versions.

Official Alternative to Gyan TV MOD APK

The safest alternative to an unofficial MOD is the official GyanTV app.

GyanTV operates a subscription-based service called GyanTV+, which provides access to its full content library. Its official pricing page currently advertises a promotional ₹2 introductory price followed by ₹149 per month, with automatic monthly billing. Prices and promotions can change, so users should verify the amount shown at checkout.

The official FAQ says GyanTV currently provides short videos across 20+ categories and that video downloads are not currently supported.
